An allocation of $1,247,331 has been made in the 2025–26 financial year to upgrade and renew Black Gully and Captain Cook Linear Corridor over multiple years and stages, with the first stage initially focusing on McGregor Street.

Upgrade/renewal will include new toilet facilities, picnic facilities, a new play node and carparking.

Estimated start date is mid-November 2025 with an expected completion date of 30 June 2026 (weather permitting).
