Computers are available for use at your local library during opening hours. Our computer facilities are equipped with free Internet access, the Microsoft Office suite, and printing facilities. Customers and visitors can book 60-minute sessions via phone, email or by asking our friendly staff. Computers are not available for booking 10 minutes prior to closing time.
Free internet access is available at all libraries through the public computers, while each library also has free Wi-Fi. Access is conditional upon our Internet Use Policy.
Some libraries offer free computer classes covering topics that are designed to help you learn the basics through to building on the skills you currently have. Our classes are conducted in a friendly and supportive environment that enable you to learn at your own pace. All branches offer drop in tech help sessions for one-to-one help (registration may be required).
Copying and printing is available at all branches. See fees and charges for library services.
Headphones must be used when listening to sound on the public computers. If needed these can be purchased in Libraries. USB sticks are also available. See fees and charges for library services.
