Queensland Youth Week is an annual celebration that shines a spotlight on the talents, achievements, and contributions of young people to their communities, our state, and beyond.

This year to help celebrate young people across the Toowoomba Region, we're holding the following events:

ParkFest 2025

We will be taking ParkFest across the region, heading to Meringandan, Crows Nest, Oakey and Clifton. There will be laser tag, archery attack, basketball, art workshops and free food for young people ages 12 - 24.

Meringandan, Bicentennial Park: Monday 7 April. 2 - 4pm
Crows Nest, Skelly Park: Tuesday 8 April. 2 - 4pm
Oakey, Gordon Park: Wednesday 9 April. 2 - 4pm
Clifton, Elsie Jones Park: Thursday 10 April. 2 - 4pm
Millmerran Recreation Reserve: Friday 11 April. 2 - 4pm

Y2K Rewind Party

Take us back to the year 2000! Lead by our regional Youth Leaders, we are throwing a Y2K Rewind Party in Highfields and Pittsworth for ages 12 - 18 only. Enjoy retro music and free pizza with us. There will be a photo booth, slushie machine and chill out activities for those who aren't carving up the dance floor.

Highfields Cultural Centre: Monday 7 April. 5 - 8pm
Pittsworth Town Hall: Thursday 10 April. 5 - 8pm

Ages 12-18 only.

Come along to the Empire Church Theatre for a fantastical day. Dungeons and Dragons is a popular table top role playing fantasy game. Join in on a learn to play session. Paint a mini. Do a fantasy craft.

Strictly ages 12-25.
