Familiar faces and locations feature in a photographic exhibition, People & Places in the High Country – Paula Heelan, which will be displayed at Goombungee’s Rosalie Gallery until June 25, 2023.

Paula Heelan’s photographic exhibition celebrates the people and places in the Toowoomba Region’s high country, north of Toowoomba and along the eastern escarpment.

With a simple, authentic approach, Paula’s environmental portraits of people at work include a firefighter, a chef, farmers, a vet, a farrier, a horticulturalist, artists, rodeo competitors, cordial makers, sportspeople and other residents.

Her powerful portraits and striking landscape images have been captured across the Region’s vibrant and distinct seasons.
